Denner winery has a history with soil. It’s founder, Mr. Denner, worked with underground construction equipment long before founding Denner. So when it came time to redesign the labels, it only seemed fitting to connect the textural qualities of the Denner wines to the history of its namesake.
KDS worked with Denner Vineyards to create a new brand mark that echoed the original but with a more industrial and worn feel; like a logo on an outdoor machine that becomes even more perfect with wear.
When it comes to the labels, we looked at textural soil and Japanese rock gardens for inspiration to create a series of unique textures that are both submissive and loud, being that the textures are the largest elements on the label.
